Some upcoming events for your diaries:-

Tuesday 14th November 2017 – The Music programme’s AGM will be held in the school at 8pm.

Monday 20th to Friday 24th November 2017 inclusive – Parent Teacher Meetings are held this week, therefore there will be No Music Classes of any sort for this entire week as the rooms will be in use by the teachers.

Wednesday 6th December 2017 – Eamonn’s Jazz groups & Mrs Lowe’s students will be performing in St. Canice’s Cathedral for the Kilkenny Lions Club Annual School Concert which will commence at 8pm.

Friday 15th December 2017 – The Annual Breakfast Morning will be held in the school between 9am -12 noon. We will be looking for volunteers to help with this event closer to the time.

Friday 15th December 2017 – The Cream of Kilkenny Cats Christmas Jazz Spectacular is taking place at 8pm in the Watergate Theatre.

Monday 18th December – Friday 22nd December 2017 – There will be no music classes this week as children shall be performing in their class plays etc, hence music will stop for Christmas on Friday 15th December until the new year.

Friday 22nd December 2017 – The Senior Orchestra will be busking in McDonagh Junction in aid of the Kilkenny Home Care Team from 1pm – 3pm.

Monday 8th January 2018 – All Music will resume after the Christmas break.

Tuesday 27th February 2018 – There will be no music on this day as the school is closed for the in-service day.

12th – 23rd March 2018 (Specific date to be confirmed) – Both the Junior and Senior Orchestra’s have been entered into this year’s Feis Ceoil Competition, we are just waiting for the actual date that they will compete on, the website only displays the above date range at present.

Tuesday 22nd May & Wednesday 23rd May 2018 – The Watergate Theatre has been booked for Maytime Melodies, full schedules to follow.

Saturday 26th May 2018 – The RIAM Theory Exams will be held in the School from 1:30pm-4pm approx.

Wednesday 30th May 2018 (TBC) – Yet to be finalised but we are hoping to hold the registration evening for enrollments to the 2018-2019 programme.
